ROLSER, the leading shopping trolley brand, has launched the “Better with Rolser” campaign, an initiative dedicated to improving people’s quality of life by promoting healthier and more sustainable habits. With the launch of this project, Rolser aims to highlight and raise awareness of the impact that light physical activity has on our health, such as walking instead of using vehicles for short journeys, avoiding carrying heavy loads, as well as contributing to caring for the environment.
Several scientific studies and health guidelines worldwide recommend light physical activity and highlight that several hours of light physical activity per day have a key impact on our health. These practices represent an excellent opportunity to counteract the effects of a sedentary lifestyle and increase our physical activity. In addition, incorporating these light routines not only facilitates consistency, but also allows us to stay active without overly exerting ourselves and serves as preparation for higher intensity physical activities.
In this sense, the “Better with Rolser” campaign seeks to promote a more active lifestyle, integrating movement into the daily routine, while also providing functional solutions. Aware of the effort that many activities require, Rolser designs ergonomic trolleys that facilitate the transport of goods, providing convenience and contributing to physical well-being by reducing the risk of back and joint injuries. Through its social media and website, Rolser will share practical resources to avoid carrying loads and expert recommendations with educational content, including advice from wellness and sustainability specialists, and will organise interactive activities to motivate the community to improve their health and care for the planet.
“Our aim has always been to simplify people’s lives by helping them to move around comfortably and effortlessly. With this initiative we want to go a step further: in addition to offering a functional product that avoids carrying unnecessary weight in many of our daily activities, we seek to promote a positive change in society. We want to show that small actions, such as walking instead of driving, can have a significant impact”, explains Mireia Server, CEO of Rolser.
In addition, the use of the shopping trolley represents an ecological alternative that helps to reduce waste, such as plastic, and contributes to caring for the environment. It also encourages more conscious and responsible consumption by making it easier to buy only what we need, which helps to reduce food waste.
“With this project we aim to raise public awareness of the importance of taking care of our health while taking care of our environment, providing information from professionals and creating tools that motivate people to integrate movement, without weight, into their daily lives”, adds Mireia Server.
Concern for the environment and sustainability are part of the company’s DNA and have marked its entire evolution, materialising in Think Green thinking, such as the Clec Termo Eco 8 Plus model, which has become the first 100% recycled and recyclable trolley on the world market, winning the “Red Dot Award” – one of the most prestigious design awards in the world – in 2022. All of this with the aim of promoting a healthier lifestyle, boosting local commerce and reducing pollution.
